Party Planning Tips:

Plan ahead! We offer some great gifts  and party supplies. Order online ahead of time and that's one big thing to cross of your list!
  • Set a budget. Bachelorette parties are typically organized by members of the bridal party and its not customary for the bride to pay for the activities. Set a budget among the organizers to cover everything from party favors, to the cab ride home. Fighting over the bill at the end of the night is no way to celebrate.
  • Make a guest list and confirm who all is attending. Unless its a surprise party, confirm the guest list with the bride to ensure everyone is welcome. And of course, everyone on the guest list should also be invited to the wedding.
  • Give everyone ample notice to RSVP and attend. Online e-vites are an easy and affordable alternative to having paper invitations printed. Or purchase invites that need only to be addressed, stamped and mailed!
  • Most importantly, try not to host the Bachelorette Party the night before the wedding. Every bride is busy and wants to look and feel her best on her big day.
  • Many ladies love to go out & enjoy some cocktails. If that's on the agenda, hire a local limousine company to chauffeur everyone around. If that's not in the budget, keep the number of your local cab company hand or designate a driver.
  • Plan some toasts. Remember, while a good Bachelorette Party is about having a great time, it's also a chance to connect with friends and the Bride before she takes the big leap. With today's busy schedules, it's rare to have so many friends all together. You might evan ask a few guests to prepare a toast in advance to get things started.
  • Plan a theme or an evening that keeps in mind the personality of the bride. Everyone wants to have a an unforgettable time, but if the Bride is not into strip clubs, don't take her there.

Budget Friendly Party Ideas

  • Host a party in someone's home. Pitch in for decorations and supplies. Costs are easily cut if each guest brings a beverage or a dish. Or gather together to make dinner for everyone. Crazy cakes or novelty candies will spice up the fun.
  • Other options for a home party are watching old movies, having a dessert dinner - nothing but cakes, cookies and ice cream or having a sleepover. With a sleepover, no one has to worry about driving or paying for taxis and a morning-after breakfast together would be a fun way to wrap up the festivities.
  • Contact local restaurants or clubs for group discounts, pre fixe menu specials or discounted wine events. Many restaurants and night clubs offer discounts for groups or set menus that are much more budget friendly.
  • If taxis or limos are out of the budget, butter up a couple of willing, available and sober husbands or boyfriends to run carpool or pick everyone up at the end of the evening to get them home safely.
  • Group gift. If gifts are desired for the shower, pooling guests' money for one nice gift is usually times more feasible than everyone purchasing something on their own.

Party Alternatives

If a crazy night on the town with cocktails is not the Bride-to-be's speed, consider some of these alternatives:
  • A Bachelorette Brunch - Make reservations at a local restaurant or host one in someone's home.
  • A Night of Games - Make the rounds to various party and game locales.  Fun alternatives to the bars are bowling alleys, skating rinks, video arcades or miniature golf parks.
  • Or hit them all for a night of marathon games and fun!
  • Costume: If the bride has a sense of humor, choose a fun outfit for her. Spice things up with a night on the town in costume, vintage or mismatched clothes, or all dressed together in some sort of theme - be it an out-of-date fashion trend, a certain color or type of uniform.
  • A Honeymoon Shower - Romantic gifts for a bride's honeymoon can be as thoughtful or as exciting as a wild night out on the town.
